Everything to know about Subscriptions
We offer four subscription plans - Random Scamperer, Gin Guzzler, Liqueur Lover and Pickled Possum.
Then there are three simple delivery intervals - monthly (once per month), bi-monthly (once every two months), and quarterly (once every three months).
For both of the choices above, you can make selections when you sign up for a subscription.
We can also accommodate any special requests, such as:
For any of these requests, just let us know before or after you sign up and we'll make sure you're taken care of.
Note that we are constantly changing the make-up of our subscription plans, so your spirit adventure might not be the same as a fellow possum!
Calendars & Cut-offs
1st day of each month
We do a check at 11:59pm of the 1st day of each month to make sure your upcoming delivery goes without a hitch. If this month is a delivery month for you, then this is the last day to change any of your subscription preferences or address details for that month. To change any details, simply logon here (you may need to click the 'Already a possum?' link at the top right hand corner). If you need to change any details AFTER this time, please email us and we can change them for you.
1st week of each month
Your order is processed in the first week of the month. If your card is successfully charged, we'll send you an email with a receipt. If there are any issues during this process, we'll send you an email.
Middle of each month
Spirits are shipped around the middle of the month. Generally it takes between two to five days for the box to zip to your door. So you can generally expect your spirits to arrive before the 20th of the month.
Giving a Gift?
What details to subscribe with
Awesome! We love to spoil people. Simply enter the recipient's details when you're joining but make sure you use your own email address because we send payment receipts to that email address which you'd probably prefer the recipient not to see!
We never include a printed invoice or receipt with deliveries, so no problems here.
If you have any special requests, such as a shorter subscription period or non-standard delivery cycles, that's no problem. Just let us know and we'll make sure you're taken care of.
We can also do up small e-cards for your recipient to let them know what to expect. Simply send us an email after joining and we'll happily oblige!
Accepted payment forms
We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express debit and credit cards.
Your credit card details are securely processed using SSL 1024 bit encryption with Stripe and are not stored by White Possum. If you need to change your card details, you can do this by logging on here (you may need to click the 'Already a possum?' link at the top right hand corner).
Generally, we bill you once per one, two or three months (depending on your delivery preferences). But if you'd like to pay upfront for all or a set number of months, we can do that too - just let us know!
Shipping & Delivery
We can ship your spirits anywhere in Australia, including to PO Boxes, Parcel Lockers and any residential or commercial address. Depending on where you live, we'll either use our preferred couriers for your delivery area or Australia Post.
If there's no-one at home
If no-one is at home to receive your spirits, the courier will leave you a slip with their details so you can contact them and arrange a re-delivery or pickup. We don't charge you any extra for a re-delivery. If we're using Australia Post, then you'll be able to pick up your spirits from the nearest Post Office.
You may find it more convenient to use your work address. That's totally fine.
Changing a shipping address
You can change your shipping address at anytime by logging on here (you may need to click the 'Already a possum?' link at the top right hand corner).. But remember, we lock in your address on the 1st day of each month for that month's delivery. Email us if you need it urgently changed.
Value for Money
Our subscription prices are, on average, slightly lower than or around the same as the recommended retail pricing of the spirits we send out. For example, the average RRP of the spirits we send in our Gin Guzzler subscription hovers around $80, including shipping. Our Gin Guzzler subscription costs $79 including shipping per delivery. So we're off to a good start already! Then there's the extra stuff, like botanicals, tasting notes and the odd CAPI product that is essentially included for free.
Our pricing is possible because we have a great working relationship with our distilleries combined with the fact that we order larger quantities of spirits. This allows us to cover our operational costs, as well as pay for the courier to deliver your spirits to you.
Cancelling or pausing
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Simply logon here (you may need to click the 'Already a possum?' link at the top right hand corner) and delete the subscriptions you'd like to cancel. It's no hassle and there are no questions asked, and that's the way we think it should be.
This is also a great way to put your subscription on hold if you won't be home for a while. Just don't forget to add your subscriptions back again, and we'll continue you on your journey as if nothing happened.

Shipping & Delivery
How are my craft spirits delivered?
By default, we ship with a courier to most areas. In our experience, these are the average delivery times for each region (we've only listed the main regions):
To other places where the courier can't reach, including rural areas and anywhere in the NT, we use Australia Post eParcel, which takes from 1-7 business days.
Once your order is shipped, you'll be sent an email with a tracking number.
Can you deliver to a PO Box or Parcel Locker?
Can you ship internationally?
Unfortunately not at this time.
What if I'm not at home for a delivery?
If you're away, the courier will leave you a slip with their details so you can contact them and arrange a re-delivery or pickup at no extra cost. If we've shipped with Australia Post, then you'll have the option of collecting your spirits at your local post office.

What methods of payment can I use?
We accept debit and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard and American Express) as well as Paypal.
Are my credit card details secure?
Absolutely. Credit card details are processed using SSL 1024 bit encryption with Stripe/Paypal and are not stored by White Possum.
I have a coupon code. What do I do with it?
Sounds exciting! You can redeem your coupon code in the pop-up window after you've added something to your cart.
