The only dedicated rum distillery in Sydney, Brix Distillers is housed in a former cathedral storage unit which now houses a 1200L copper pot still and eight 1000L fermentation tanks. Combined with a bar that's open to the public, the site is probably a little more rowdy than it used to be.
This tasting set is available at very few places, so we're pretty excited to be offering this sampler of the Brix core range. Each set contains a 50ml bottle of:
Cane Spirit
Made from premium Australian molasses from the cane-fields of QLD and NSW. Perfect in a mojito, a daiquiri or a piña colada. Alternatively, keep it simple with by pairing with a dry tonic and some fresh pink grapefruit.
Rum
Brix's signature rum drawn from the distillery's own stock of matured stock. This rum is made from 100% Australian molasses and aged in ex-wine casks. Perfect for sipping over ice or savouring in a Rum Old Fashioned.
Spiced Rum
Based on the Cane Spirit, this flavourful little number is infused with native Australian lemongrass, bush currants, roasted macadamias, locally grown mangoes, grapefruit, cinnamon & vanilla.
