As the only distillery in Melbourne CBD, you’d be forgiven for thinking Little Lon would be housed in a drab corporate office with swivel chairs and a still hidden away in the underground carpark. In reality, this tiny city distillery is housed in a heritage-listed brick cottage, one of the last to survive in the thick of a bustling metropolis. Just over a hundred years ago, the cottage and the area around it were known to be a den for illicit brothels and breweries. Today, the old bedroom houses a large copper still and the storeroom is filled to the brim with fermentation tanks.

This tasting set features three core gins in Little Lon's range, each of them made from scratch and highlighting a broad gamut of flavours. Each set contains a 100ml bottle of:

Constable Proudfoot Gin
Designed as a savoury spirit, this gin is made with plenty of juniper and infused with rosemary. The result is a gin at times reminiscent of a pine forest, perfect for stirring into a Martini.

Little Miss Yoko Gin
Little Miss Yoko is a double distilled lychee infused gin named after Chinese sex worker Yokohama who worked and lived in the area in the 1920s. On the nose, it's an explosion of fruity lychee and vanilla. Pairs well with elderflower tonic.

Ginger Mick Gin
Ginger Mick is a ginger laden jenever-style gin named after the CJ Dennis book character Ginger Mick. Jenever, the old precursor to modern gin, is a Dutch malt-based spirit flavoured with juniper.
