This limited edition tasting set features five gins inspired by and created from the legendary cacao tree. Yep, that's right, these are chocolate gins! Made by five different distilleries, each is wildly different so this is destined to be a chocolate lover's adventure.

Each gin is presented in a 30ml matte-black glass sampler bottle and labelled with the distillery, gin name and where it was distilled. A sleek and eco-friendly themed slide-out box holds the gins together. On the back of the box, you'll find some light reading - a brief profile of each distillery and gin.

Designed as an adult Easter treat or as a 'educational flavour training aid' for all chocolate lovers.

'Black Cherry Chocolate Gin' by Anther Spirits
Anther Distillery, established in 2016 and located in Geelong, is the brainchild of an ex-microbiologist and a hospitality veteran. This limited release Black Cherry Chocolate Gin combines freshly harvested Tasmanian black cherries with their award-winning Australian Dry Gin. This blend is further infused with cacao nibs, vanilla bean, and subtle spices, creating a distinctive flavour profile. The gin incorporates over 19 botanicals, including finger lime, lemon-scented gum, and eucalyptus radiata.

'Chocolate Gin' by Heathcote Gin
Heathcote Gin, based in central Victoria, crafts a variety of gins that celebrate local Australian botanicals. This Chocolate Gin is a full-bodied spirit that combines chocolate, hazelnut, and vanilla elements with subtle undertones of sweet orange and almond. This gin is designed to deliver a smooth finish and is recommended to be enjoyed neat, over ice, as a Gin & Tonic, or mixed with dry ginger or blood orange mixers.

'Coffee & Cacao Gin' by Never Never Distilling
Never Never Distilling is an ambitious operation led by three young lads who were inspired by the remote outback of Australia, the ‘Never Never’, and focused on producing highly original, daring spirits. Their Coffee & Cacao Gin, developed in collaboration with Italian mixologist Lorenzo Antinori, is a 42% ABV spirit that incorporates roasted coffee beans, cacao nibs, cacao butter, and bergamot peel. This gin is designed to enhance classic cocktails, in particular the Negroni.

'Gourmet Chocolate Gin' by Hepburn Distillery
Hepburn Distillery, a family-owned distillery in Daylesford, emphasizes sustainability by sourcing local, seasonal, and organic ingredients. They ferment and triple-distil their own alcohol from scratch, using potatoes and rainwater. The pulp leftover from fermentation is fed to local pigs. Hepburn’s Gourmet Chocolate Gin is infused with blackberries and real chocolate, offering a hint of sweetness and chocolate aroma. This robust gin is versatile in cocktails, enhancing drinks like Espresso Martinis, Chocolate Negronis, or even as an addition to champagne. 

'Chocolate Gin' by 78 Degrees Distillery
78 Degrees Distillery, previously known as Adelaide Hills Distillery, was founded in 2014 by winemaker Sacha La Forgia, who worked in wineries around the world before a stint at a grappa distillery in Italy where he was inspired to start his own distillery. Upon returning home, he made his own copper still and launched some of the earliest Australian gins to gain widespread acclaim. This Chocolate Gin is crafted using leftover cacao husks from the chocolate-making process, native wattleseed, and Riverland oranges, resulting in a rich and smooth gin with subtle undertones of dark chocolate and citrus.
