Pyewackets Traditional is an artisanal producer in Ballina NSW specialising in slow-made botanical drinks that draw on historical shrub, tonic and bitters traditions. Their handmade products are made in small batches using real plants without extracts or added flavours, with an emphasis on sustainability, low waste (including utilising late-season or imperfect fruit) and connection to the local Bundjalung region (a portion of sales is donated to First Nations organisations). Founder Genna Pyewacket is a naturopath, herbalist and nutritionist with more than 25 years of clinical and herbal-medicine experience. She's also a keen gardener - she grows many of the herbs used in Pyewackets’ products.

Calm Bitters is made by blending fragrant strawberry gum, chamomile, angelica, oat green, skullcap and a touch of vanilla, in certified organic grain alcohol to extract flavour and plant compounds. The formula is designed to ease tension that often underlies digestive discomfort such as gas, bloating and nausea, while also calming the nervous system. It can be added to sparkling water or cocktails/mocktails for a gentle herbal spritz.
