Our 2026 Australian Whisky Advent Calendar takes you on a flavour-filled journey through Australian whisky, with 25 x 30mL bottles from 25 different producers tucked behind its doors. From Tasmania to Queensland, and Western Australia to the east coast, this year's line-up brings together familiar favourites, smaller makers and some wonderfully unusual casks. Grab a tasting glass and a comfortable seat. Your Christmas countdown is about to get considerably more interesting.

There are single malts, rye malt and grain whiskies to discover, with Amaretto, Shiraz, Port, Muscat, Sherry and beer casks all making an appearance. You'll meet names like Lark, Starward, Overeem and Archie Rose alongside Kinglake, Backwoods, Loch and The Outback Distilling Co. Whether you're buying for a whisky lover or returning for your own annual adventure, there's plenty here to keep your taste buds guessing.

Some discoveries travel further than the tasting glass: distilleries have told us about visitors who first met their spirits in one of our earlier calendars. Consider this a Christmas gift with the potential to inspire your next road trip.

'Flathead Gyotaku' by Ben Devlin.

This year's calendar features artwork by chef and artist Ben Devlin of Pipit Restaurant in Pottsville, NSW. Ben works with gyotaku, the Japanese art of fish printing, making impressions with the local seafood also used in Pipit's kitchen. The delicate textures and movement of his Flathead Gyotaku artwork wrap around the box to bring you a little Tweed Coast to your Christmas countdown.

Only a few hundred of the 2026 Whisky Advent Calendars have been made. Our calendars have sold out every year since the first edition launched in 2017, usually weeks before Advent begins. If this is your kind of Christmas tradition, we'd suggest getting in early.
