Naturi Vermouth is a modern Australian take on the classic aromatised wine category, handcrafted in small batches in South Australia. The brainchild of Richard Gunner, Naturi is a new entrant in this space and looking to shake things up by blending high-quality table wines with premium barrel-aged brandy, infused with a distinctive blend of botanicals.

Naturi Dirty Dry is an adventurous and distinctly Australian dry vermouth perfectly suited for sipping neat or stirring into a martini. On the nose you’ll pick up green olive brine, fresh mint and chamomile tea over a foundation of white wine and aged brandy. On the palate it has a crisp but layered character: fresh herbal brightness, a coastal edge of seaweed and lemon myrtle, then a clean, slightly bitter finish. 

Serving suggestions:

  • Pour over a big block of ice and sip slowly
  • Mixed with regular tonic water, Strangelove Jalapeno tonic or soda water (Richard suggests a 1:3 vermouth to mixer ratio)
  • Mixed in classic cocktails such as the Martini, Corpse Reviver or Vesper
