Pyewackets Traditional is an artisanal producer in Ballina NSW specialising in slow-made botanical drinks that draw on historical shrub, tonic and bitters traditions. Their handmade products are made in small batches using real plants without extracts or added flavours, with an emphasis on sustainability, low waste (including utilising late-season or imperfect fruit) and connection to the local Bundjalung region (a portion of sales is donated to First Nations organisations). Founder Genna Pyewacket is a naturopath, herbalist and nutritionist with more than 25 years of clinical and herbal-medicine experience. She's also a keen gardener - she grows many of the herbs used in Pyewackets’ products.

Energy Bitters is made by blending single-origin roasted cacao beans, dried mandarin peel and a trio of adaptogenic herbs - Codonopsis, Siberian ginseng and Withania (ashwagandha) - with traditional bittering botanicals in a certified organic grain alcohol base. It's supposed to support healthy digestion while promoting sustained energy, resilience and focus without caffeine. Mix with sparkling water, chai, smoothies or mocktails as an invigorating tonic throughout the day.
