I regard myself as an Amaro & Aperitif aficionado and particularly gravitate toward more bitter versions. Given that, I was excitedly anticipating the delivery of the little reviewed but interesting Scarletta. I poured it neat over ice with a squeeze of citrus. Taste is fantastic - just the right balance of high bitter/ rounded sweet fruit. It is one of the best high bitter yet balanced aperitifs I have ever sampled. Close to the top. Excellent & Australian too! Thank you so very much to the innovate distillers @ White Possum. I only wish the marketers would sell it in 750cl or 1000cl bottles. Outstanding!!!
